Poema del Mar is an Aquarium that opened its doors at the beginning of 2018, and where 3 ecosystems coexist: surface marine ecosystem, deep marine ecosystem and freshwater ecosystem. You can see sharks, black piranhas, rays, crocodiles, tuna, etc.
One of the most curious specimens you can see is the human fish, originally from the caves of Slovenia and Krakow. There are very few specimens of this type of fish, and the resemblance to humans is very curious. Here you will meet him and you will be surprised.
The Aquarium project is based on innovation, conservation and sustainability. And it has already been named by the Government of the Canary Islands "of strategic interest for the region." Many of their specimens are in danger of extinction, but thanks to this Aquarium they can continue reproducing.
